Clinic Director
Denise has over 23 years experience in Mental Health and has been in private
practice for 10 years, specializing in child and family therapy. She continued
to have a growing caseload of children with Reactive Attachment Disorder.
In 2004 she trained at three of the top RAD treatment facilities in the
country. She has since synthesized the techniques and her own study to
develop her own attachment treatment techniques. Families are now healing.
Denise has received over 200 hours of specialized training to treat Reactive
Attachment Disorder. Denise has completed the requirements from ATTACh
to become a Registered Attachment Clinician. Denise provides training
and education on Reactive Attachment Disorder and other Mental Health
services in Iowa. She is beginning research on the efficacy of her Treatment
Protocol, as well as writing a book for parents and family members of
adopted children.
Farrah Bonde, L.I.S.W., CAI
Registered Attachment Clinician
Farrah was one of the founding members of the Adoption & Attachment
Treatment Center of Iowa. Farrah has been providing counseling to children
and families for over 8 years. She is a Certified Adoption Investigator
in the State of Iowa. She has also received extensive training on Therapeutic
Parenting, and has trained at two of the top RAD Clinics in the country.
Farrah has received over 200 hours of specialized training to treat children
with Reactive Attachment Disorder. Farrah is also a Registered Attachment
Clinician in Iowa through ATTACh.
Tricia L. Hoffman, Psy.D, LP.
Psychologist, Clinician
Dr. Hoffman joined AATC of Iowa after completing her internship program,
and then working for the Family Attachment Center in Minnesota where she
provided Psychological Assessments, Attachment Evaluations and Treatment,
and facilitated the Day Treatment Program for adopted children. Dr. Hoffman
has received over 200 hours of specialized training to treat children
with Reactive Attachment Disorder. Dr. Hoffman comes with over 3 years
of experience with Attachment Disorder and will be facilitating the research
at our clinic. She provides Psychological, ADHD, and Learning Disorders
Assessments. She is also an Attachment Clinician, and develops and facilitates
the Social Skills Groups for children.
Jaime Berger, B.A., L.M.S.W.
Jaime joined AATC of Iowa after a year-long Internship program at our
clinic to specialize in Reactive Attachment Disorder. Jaime came to us
with many skills and has learned our unique Treatment Protocol. She assists
with the Social Skills Groups, Attachment & Bonding Therapy, and Psychological
Assessments.
